CONSTITUTION: When a semiconductor ceramic for voltage nonlinear resistor is composed of a semiconductor ceramic powder comprising strontium carbonate, calcium carbonate, and titanium oxide, and one or more kind of oxide of element selected from Nb, W, Ta, In or rare earth element, the average particle size of starting material for the semiconductor ceramic powder is set at 1.5μm or less.
