Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital storage device such as a shift register including a semiconductor device such as a transistor, the digital storage device solving the problem of characteristic deterioration caused when the transistor is always on, and capable of stably operating.SOLUTION: In a digital storage device such as a shift register, a transistor supplying a power supply potential to an output terminal is turned on at regular intervals. Since the transistor is not always on, characteristic deterioration of the shift register is suppressed. In addition, a power supply potential is supplied to the output terminal at regular intervals, and therefore, the occurrence of noise in the output terminal can be suppressed. Thus, characteristic deterioration of the transistor is suppressed while the operation of the digital storage device is made stable.
