To provide a semiconductor laser driver circuit which stabilizes the PWM characteristic against the operating temperature variation of a semiconductor laser.
The semiconductor laser driver circuit 1 controls a laser diode LD1 to make its output light quantity constant in an LD1_APC mode, resulting in that its output light quantity is P0 with its current I0. It controls the laser diode LD1 to make its output light quantity constant in an LD1_bias APC mode, resulting in that its output light quantity is P1 with its current I0-I1. In an OFF mode, a current ILD1 inputted to the laser diode LD1 is expressed by ILD1=α×(P0I0-P0I1-P1I0)/(P0-P1). The semiconductor laser driver circuit 1 feeds the laser diode LD1 with the current ILD1 as a bias current in a no-image forming region.
