Abstract:
To provide a reception unit capable of stabilizing the operation even when the number of functions is increased by adding tuners, etc., while reducing problems when outputting warning messages, etc., and a transmission unit, and a reception/transmission unit.SOLUTION: The reception unit includes: multiple tuners: a CAS (conditional access system) module that generates a scramble key for the multiple tuners; a communication control unit for receiving a communication service over a network; and a control unit. The control unit controls the multiple tuners for selecting a program, controls the timing when the CAS module generates a scramble key, and controls the communication control unit to acquires a communication service.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 25
