Title:
SENSITIVE CONTACT DRIVING MECHANISM FOR DISPLACEMENT MEASURING INSTRUMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3850364
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a stable constant-speed feed without additionally using any rotary encoder or tachogenerator for motor revolution detection.
SOLUTION: When the output of a scale 20 varies depending on power given to a motor 18, the power given to the motor 18 is controlled depending on the output of the scale 20. When a variation in the output of the scale 20 is decreased though the same power is continuously given to the motor 18, a sensitive contact 12 is determined to be in contact with a workpiece 8 to decrease the power given to the motor 18. When the output of a work sensor 26 is varied, power given to the motor 18 is controlled in conformity to the output of either the scale output or the work sensor output, exhibiting larger speed variation.
