PURPOSE: To properly absorb a tabular body from the top one by one regardless of the dimension, weight, shape and the like of the tabular body by disposing an electric magnet above the tabular body in spaced relation, absorbing the tabular body with exciting current gradually increased, and thereby holding exciting current at the time when the tabular body is absorbed.

CONSTITUTION: An electric magnet 2 is disposed above a laminate in spaced relation, in which tabular bodies 1 furnished with magnetic absorptivity are piled up, and exciting current for the electric magnet 2 is gradually increased by a control device 4. Accompanied with which, the absorbing force of the electric magnet 2 is gradually increased so that one tabular body 1 at the uppermost position of the laminate is absorbed onto the electric magnet 2. At this moment, exciting current for the electric magnet 2 is held so that no tabular body 1 located under a second one is absorbed by the electric magnet 2 with exception that only one tabular body 1 is absorbed onto the electric magnet 2.
