Abstract:

To provide a separator for an oven resistance characteristics storage device with which a storage device having superior oven resistance characteristics can be manufactured.

A storage device having superior oven resistance characteristics and a separator for an oven resistance characteristics storage device are produced, by using a microporous membrane whose product of diffusion coefficients in respective directions determined by field gradient NMR method satisfies the relation D(Z)×D(MD)×D(TD)<4.5×10-31 as a separator for the storage device. D(Z), where D(MD), D(TD) indicate coefficients in the film thickness direction and the MD (longitudinal) direction, the TD (lateral) direction of the separator determined by a field gradient NMR method, respectively.
