Abstract:
PURPOSE:To omit the time and labor needed for the setting jobs by making a master module read the identification code of each slave module, recognize the type of the slave module, and write the set value to each slave module to set the function of the module. CONSTITUTION:A master module 1 activates successively the slot selection signals by a slot selection signal generating circuit 9 to the slave slots 6 and 7 respectively. Then the module 1 reads the identification codes of the slave modules 2 and 3 out of an identification code output circuit 12 and recognizes the types of both modules 2 and 3. Thereafter the module 1 decides the set values (module addresses) which are allocated to the modules 2 and 3 by reference to a module type-based set value table set previously so that these set values have no conflict with each other. Then these set values are written into an address setting register 11. Thus the time and labor can be omitted for the setting jobs of users.
