Abstract:

To obtain a traveling characteristic that matches user's preference, a living environment, how to drive a car, etc.

A server for supporting traveling that provides a vehicle side with information related to a particular region has a receiving means for receiving environmental data obtained in such a manner that a plurality of users travel the particular region, a data storing means for storing the environmental data, and a detour information providing means for estimating a detour from a route with high use frequency by its local residents on the basis of environmental data of the users being the particular local residents among the stored environmental data and providing a requesting user with information about the detour.
