To provide a service-providing system for compressing the volume of registered data required for a plurality of services provided to condominiums or various facilities to facilitate the management of the data.

A user of the system has an ID card 1 such as an IC card in which specific personal data are written in advance, and when the personal data in the card are read by the system, the system collates the read data with registered data. When authentication is achieved by the collation, the lock of a locker which is included in the system is opened to allow reception or delivery of a parcel or the like at the locker. The service-providing system uses the registered data in the system for providing various services, such as locking/unlocking the door of a building, besides the reception of the parcel.
