The service system for the self-service restaurant is provided with a ticket vending machine which issues a storage card capable of storing a reference number, etc. with a menu button pressed, the kitchen monitor and serving monitor which are installed in the kitchen and hall and display a menu ordered by menu button operation on the ticket-vending machine and the reference number at specified positions, and a means of erasing the menu displayed on the kitchen monitor and serving monitor by the input of the completion of the kitchen and serving and informing a customer of the completion of the kitchen through the reference number; and the storage card is received from the customer and read by a terminal machine and the reference numbers on the kitchen monitor and serving monitor are erased.
