Title:
SETTER FOR ANCHOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63283875
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
The setting tool, consisting essentially of a mandrel (1) and an associated ball (3), is screwed into the thread of a fastening element (5) to be set. The ball (3) is held in a receiving space (2a) and serves as a stop which limits the screwing of the setting tool into the fastening element (5). Since the ball (3) forms only a punctual support with the mandrel (1), the friction torque arising when screwing in the fastening element (5) between the ball (3) and the mandrel (1) is very low, so that the setting tool can be unscrewed from the fastening element (5) again without difficulty after the fastening element (5) has been set.
