Abstract:

To set arrangement of data of a database in a physical storage area while taking into consideration an access frequency to the physical storage area.

A computer is applicable to a computer system including a plurality of physical storage areas for storing the data of the database. This computer has an access frequency acquiring part in accordance with a reference item for acquiring a supposed access frequency to data on constituting information in accordance with a range of a value of a predetermined reference item in the constituting information for constituting the database. This computer also has a data arrangement part 110 for setting the physical storage area for storing the data on the constituting information divided by the range of the value of the reference item on the basis of the acquired access frequency.
