PURPOSE: To separate a casting mold charged therein with molten metal to a casting and sand and to move surely the casting, by providing walking beams provided with product supporting bars which can be projected upward from the top end face of a grate below the grate provided vertically vibratably.

CONSTITUTION: A vibration motor 8 is operated to vibrate vertically a grate 7 by means of a vibration frame 4. When a casting mold charged therein with molten metal is charged on the top surface of the grate 7 with a feed chute in this state, the casting mold is separated to a casting and molding sand by receiving the vibration effect in a vertical direction. If a driving motor 21 is operated to rotate a crank arm 14 around a revolving crank shaft 12 at the same instant, walking beams 16 repeat upward, forward, downward and backward movements. The casting on the top surface of the grate 7 is moved forward by the length equivalent to each half radius of rotation of the arm 16 by means of product support rods 19. On the other hand, the separated molding sand is recovered with a recovery chute 26 into a sand recovery conveyor 27.
