PURPOSE: To provide the shampoo composition not only having fundamental performances, but also reduced in the creaking touch of hair when the hair is rinsed, giving additional performances such as good flexibility and good combing property to dried hair, and having a low irritative property, low temperature stability and good conditioning effect.
CONSTITUTION: This shampoo composition contains (A) an amphoteric surfactant (e.g. an imidazoline surfactant) and/or a nonionic surfactant (e.g. an alkylether surfactant), (B) an N-polyoxyethylenealkyletherethyl-N,N,N-trialkyl ammonium salt or N,N-dialkyl-N-benzyl ammonium salt type cationic surfactant, and (C) an anionic surfactant (e.g. a carboxylate salt type surfactant) as essential components.
