This device for inputting and outputting optical disk information provided with the optical pickup device having the shape variable mirror has a mirror surface flatness detecting means for detecting the flatness of the mirror surface of the shape variable mirror, and a disk inclination detecting means for detecting the inclination of an optical disk, controls the flatness of the mirror surface by changing the shape of the mirror surface on the basis of the flatness of the mirror surface obtained by the mirror surface flatness detecting means, and controls wave front aberration by changing the shape of the mirror surface on the basis of the inclination of the optical disk obtained by the optical disk inclination detecting means.
