PURPOSE: To obtain a running steel shearing machine which can shear a steel plate, etc. continuously, without causing flaws on a work to be sheared.

CONSTITUTION: Since the energizing power of springs 14a, 14b that energize a small table 11 upward is satisfied by lifting up the cutting edge only of a sheared steel plate 1 by the table 11, it is enough to be one over several scores of the energizing power of the coil spring 10 that raises the whole steel plate 1 together with the guide table 9. Accordingly, when a plate is sheared, it is only held with a small force at a very small section at the front end of this plate. Therefore, any flaws are prevented from occurring on the product to be sheared.
