To provide a sheet carrying device and an image forming device capable of preventing wrinkles on a sheet by preventing generation of flexure occurring during carrying the sheet.
A paper feeding roller 12 gives a carrying force from one surface side of the sheet S, and paper feeding separation roller 13 supports the sheet S from another surface side, and gives a slidable resistance force in an opposite direction to the carrying force when a carrying resistance is large. The sheet S reaches a first carrying roller pair 15 and second carrying roller pair 16, 17, and loses the carrying force and gives the carrying resistance force to the sheet S in the opposite direction to the carrying force. The second carrying roller pair 16, 17 arranged in both sides of the first carrying roller pair 15 and the first carrying roller 15 arranged on the downstream side of the carrying direction of the paper feeding roller 12, give the carrying force to the sheet S, but the carrying force given to the sheet S of the first carrying roller pair 15 is larger than the carrying force given to the sheet S of the second carrying roller pair 16, 17.
