Abstract:
To provide a sheet carrying mechanism of a printer capable of guiding and carrying sheets highly precisely without position shift even if there is a variety in the width, etc., of the sheets.
In the sheet carrying mechanism, the width D of a pair of guide members 4 is smaller than the width E of a sheet 3. Each guide member 4 has a restricting part 5 for restricting the curving direction of left or right edge 3a or 3b of the sheet 3. The left and right edges 3a and 3b of the sheet 3 are curved in the same direction with the restricting parts 5.
