Title:
SHEET CONVEYANCE DEVICE, AUTO DOCUMENT FEEDER, AND IMAGE FORMATION APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016104659
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyance device which can achieve correct discrimination of paper kinds and shortening of paper intervals.SOLUTION: When a pickup roller (11A) draws a first sheet (SH1) out from a bundle (DC0), a light-emitting element (210) irradiates the sheet with light, and light reception elements (211, 212) detect the reflection light quantity/transmission light quantity from the sheet. When a discrimination part (231) discriminates the paper kind of the sheet on the basis of those, a paper kind information generation part (233) generates information indicating the paper kind. When a feeding roller (11B) moves a second sheet (SH2) forward with the second sheet overlapped on the first sheet (SH1), the light-emitting element (210) irradiates the two sheets with light, and the second light reception element (212) detects the light transmission quantity from the sheets. When an estimation part (232) estimates that the two sheets of the paper kind discriminated by the discrimination part are overlapped with each other on the basis of that, the paper kind information generation part (233) generates information indicating the paper kind.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
