Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyance device capable of properly exhausting heated ambient air irrespective of the type of sheets while maintaining the conveyance property of the sheets, and an image formation apparatus.SOLUTION: An adsorption force generation unit 44 comprises a first duct 107 which sucks air from a first opening by a suction fan 104 and applies the negative pressure to a sheet S via an adsorption conveyance belt 101. The adsorption force generation unit 44 also comprises a second duct 106 which includes a second opening 105 provided at a position other than a sheet conveyance region and sucks air around a pre-fixation conveyance unit 42 from the second opening 105 to exhaust the air via the suction fan 104. The adsorption force generation unit 44 comprises an adjustment shutter 108 which adjusts the adsorption force of the adsorption conveyance belt 101 by changing the air quantity flowing in the first duct 107 by increasing/decreasing the air quantity flowing in the second duct 106 in accordance with the type of the sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
