Abstract:
To provide a sheet conveyance device capable of achieving easy and safe removal of a sheet upon occurrence of jamming.SOLUTION: A double-side conveyance mechanism 170 includes: a double-side upstream roller pair 15; a double-side downstream roller pair 16 arranged on the downstream side of the double-side upstream roller pair 15 in the sheet conveyance direction; an opening/closing door 14 for opening and closing a re-conveyance path 183 between the double-side upstream roller pair 15 and the double-side downstream roller pair 16; a double-side upstream motor for driving the double-side upstream roller pair 15; a double-side downstream motor for driving the double-side downstream roller pair 16; and a controller for executing slackness formation processing of controlling the double-side upstream motor and the double-side downstream motor so that slackness is formed at a sheet between the double-side upstream roller pair 15 and the double-side downstream roller pair 16 upon occurrence of jamming.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
