Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject compound having softness at ordinary temperature, free from stickiness, excellent in film releasing property and low-pressure moldability and suitable for minibathtub, etc., by blending a specific crystalline unsaturated polyester resin with an alkaline earth metal oxide, etc.

CONSTITUTION: This compound is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. of a crystalline unsaturated polyester resin having 45-100°C melting point with preferably 0.1-1.5 pts.wt. of at least (B) an alkaline earth metal oxide such as beryllium oxide and/or (C) an alkaline earth metal hydroxide such as magnesium hydroxide.
