Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device and image formation apparatus which change the deviation amount of succeeding sheets in accordance with the thickness (number) of a bundle of sheets placed on a placement tray in advance, and reduce the malfunction of registration due to the thickness of the sheet bundle.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device includes: a placement tray 54 on which sheets from a conveyance roller 44 are placed as a bundle; a stand-by path 70 in which succeeding sheets are made to stand by on the upstream side of the conveyance roller 44; an accumulation tray of the sheet bundle; a discharge roller 48 which nips the sheet bundle on the placement tray 54 and the succeeding sheets in the deviated state to discharge the sheet bundle to the accumulation tray, and switches back the plurality of succeeding sheets to the placement tray; and a feeding member 56 which feeds the succeeding sheets by the placement tray 54. The sheet processing device changes the deviation amount wpl of the plurality of succeeding sheets nipped with the sheet bundle in accordance with the thickness of the sheet bundle on the placement tray discharged by the discharge roller 48.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
