Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the sheets discharged from an image forming device from being curled when they are cooled with the elapse of time.
SOLUTION: The sheets conveyed from a conveying means are received by multiple bins I-III, the intervals between multiple bins I-III can be adjusted by a bin moving means, the presence or absence of sheets in the bin widened with the interval is detected by a detecting means, and the continuous opening time of the bin widened with the interval by the moving means is measured by a measuring means during the period when the presence of sheets is detected by the detecting means. When the time measured by the measuring means becomes a prescribed value or above, the interval of a bin storing no sheet is widened, the interval of the bin III storing sheets is narrowed, a bin moving means is controlled by a control means to press the sheets on the bin, and the curl of sheets is prevented by the pressing of the bins II, III.
