In the roll for winding the sheet having a predetermined width, a winding body is provided, which has a winding surface contacted with the sheet, i.e., an object to be wound; a side surface continuously provided from both ends of the winding surface toward a rotation shaft of the roll; and a bottom surface continuously provided at the side surface and wound on the rotation shaft to be fixed. An approximately disc-like flange extending to a radial direction of the side surface is fixed to a ring-like recessed part provided near the winding surface at the side surface of the winding body and the sheet is wound between the two flanges.
