Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely disassembling and treating a shell incorporating a chemical substance.
SOLUTION: An area near a warhead 12 of the shell 10 is cut horizontally, and an explosive charge 22 being accommodated in an inner cylinder 14 is washed away by washing liquid 25. Openings 27 and 28 are formed at an outer cylinder 13, and the washing liquid 25 is injected, thus washing away the chemical substance 23 being accommodated in a gap 21.
