To provide a shield gasket capable of shielding an electric communication apparatus or the like in a narrow installation space as an EMI countermeasure.
An invention concerned with the claim 1 is a shield gasket to be attached to a metal casing of an apparatus on which an electric device is mounted. The shield gasket is composed of a resin-made clip part allowed to be held on an end part of a sheet metal composing the metal casing, and a seal part to be attached to an attaching surface of the clip part opposite to the end surface of the end part of the sheet metal. The seal part is formed by an elastic material covered with conductive cloth, and the conductive cloth is arranged over the holding part of the clip part. In an invention concerned with the claim 2, the clip part in the shield gasket described in the claim 1 is composed of a first holding piece planarly formed along the sheet metal of the metal casing from the attaching surface, and a second holding piece which is formed on the attaching surface opposite to the first holding piece across the sheet metal and of which the projected end side is pressed in contact with the sheet metal.
