Abstract:
To provide a shielding device which can house two pulleys having relatively large diameters without their protruding from the front and rear of a head-box.SOLUTION: Of a shielding device 100, inside a head-box 110 are provided a first drive shaft 180 which moves a first pleated screen 120, a second drive shaft 190 which is arranged parallel to the front-rear direction of the first drive shaft 180 and moves a second pleated screen 140, a first pulley 202 that drives the first drive shaft 180 and a second pulley 302 that drives the second drive shaft 190; and at least one of the first pulley 202 and the second pulley 302 is disposed at a position offset in the front-rear direction of the drive shaft via a relay means 240 capable of transmitting the driving force from the pulley to the corresponding drive shaft. With this configuration, a shielding device is provided which can house pulleys having relatively large diameters without their protruding from the front and rear of the head box.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
