Abstract:
To provide a shift device and a motor control device for a vehicle capable of appropriately detecting abnormality of a power supply line by suppressing repetition of determination of abnormality and normality of the power supply line.SOLUTION: A shift device 100 includes a motor 11 driving a detent plate 103a (shift switching member) by power supplied from a power supply 104 mounted on a vehicle 110, a blocking unit 34 blocking conduction of a power supply line 32, and an inverter unit 35. When voltage of the power supply line 32 is smaller than a predetermined threshold value, abnormality of the power supply line 32 is determined, switching elements 35a-35f included in the inverter unit 35 are turned off, and conduction of the power supply line 32 is blocked by the blocking unit 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
