Abstract:
PURPOSE:To avoid damage and abrasion at a sliding portion, to keep low-frictional resistance for a long period of time, and to ensure a good ride by making a difference in hardness between a fluororesin layer used on piston side and a resin layer used on rod guide side. CONSTITUTION:A guide bush 6a brought into sliding contact with a piston rod 7 is fitted and fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the central hole of a rod guide 6 fixed to a cylider 3. A piston ring 9a brought into sliding contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder 3 is fitted to the outer peripheral surface of a piston 9. Resin layers having a fluororesin layer are disposed on the inner peripheral surface of the guide bush 6a and the outer peripheral surface of the piston ring 9a, respectively, and the hardness of the former resin layer is selected lower than that of the latter resin layer. Accordingly, the respective members are adapted to give hardness and coefficient of friction conformable to the opposite member to prevent damage and abrasion, and keep low-frictional resistance for a long period of time.
