To provide shoes for marine sports provided with improved waterproof quality and sufficient strength.
This pair of shoes for marine sports are each provided with a rubber sole member 1, a foot enveloping member 2 integrally mounted to the sole member 1, and a fastening member 7 mounted to the foot enveloping member 2. An inner member 14 made of waterproof fabric is provided inside the foot enveloping member 2. The foot enveloping member 2 is constituted of an upper surface part 2a to cover the tiptoe of a foot, side surface parts 2b and 2c to cover the sides to the rear, and a front surface part 2d to cove an instep and shin. An upper part of the inner member 14 is formed approximately in a tubular shape, and a notch part 14a is formed in a front part of the inner member 14 so that the inner member 14 can be opened. A tongue piece 4b is mounted inside the inner member 14 so that the notch part 4a can be covered, and an upper-end rear part is folded double. At the time of fastening the foot enveloping member 2 with the fastening member 7, the inner member 14 comes into close contact with a foot to prevent the entrance of water from around the shin completely.
