To detect an irregular condition such as a so-called single ball shooting in a pachinko machine.
A detector for detecting the passage of balls in a pachinko machine is set so that a time interval in which the passage of the pinballs is detected (104, Y). That is, the ball shooting time interval T1 is found (106). When the shooting time interval T1 is different from the reference of shooting time interval T2 (108, N), the shooting condition of the pachinko machine is under the irregular shooting condition to be reported (110). Thus, the shooting condition of the pachinko machine is reported to be under the irregular condition according to the shooting time interval measured by detecting the passage of balls, the irregular condition such as so-called signal ball shooting can be easily detected.
