Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert a used short pipe into a core automatically by applying a particularry designed transferring system attached thereto.
SOLUTION: From an outlet of conveyer 1, a storage system 2, setting system 3, and checking 4 are installed in succession, and further a core pressing system is installed, and the conveyer 1 is advanced in direction of an arrow so that the short pipes are moved from the left end of a conveyer 2 and are storaged at a zig-zag shaped hopper 23. The short pipe causes a frange 33 of the setting system to rotate and is put into the pocket one by one, and further causes ninty degree rotation to bring to the setting system, and causes an air shaft of the chuking system 4 to move in axial direction, and hold the short pipes held in a pocket with a retainer, and lifts and then lowers after inserting the first half portion of the short pipe into a core on the core rail R, and further both surfaces of core block 46 and the core rail R are flushed, and the latter half of the short pipe is inserted into a next core so that the short pipe is connected.
