PURPOSE: To switch over water discharge modes simply and surely by converting the axial movement of an operating button into the handling movement of a valve mechanism by linking the valve mechanism which closes a water inlet corresponding to the passage system of delivery with the operating button, which can be pushed outside, through a cam mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: When an operating button 5 is pushed once, a cam shaft 7 descends through a rod 6 and rotates through the engagement with a guide pin 8. When the operating button 5 is pushed down to the maximum stroke, the cam shaft 7 turns by 90°, so that the passage hole of a shifting plate 4 conforms to the first inlet 1e of a shower head main body 1. When the operating button 5 is released from pushing, the cam shaft 7 ascends to the original position by a spring 5a so that the sealing piece of the shifting plate 4 is placed on the seat of the shower head main body 1. In this way, water, after being fed from the first inlet 1e to a flow arrangement chamber 1c, is discharged from a flow arrangement discharge opening 2a of a watering plate 2 through the first connecting hole 3c of a separator 3.
