Abstract:
To provide a signal generation device capable of distinguishing signal changes from noise surely and an on-vehicle control system provided with the signal generation device.
When a signal of a predetermined level is detected, a signal change monitoring section 15 memorizes the predetermined level in a register. Then, a level of a signal detected in the next sampling period is compared with the predetermined level memorized. When the compared level of the signal is the same (for example, when both signals are of a high level), an interrupt signal is generated and outputted to a CPU 11. The CPU 11 shifts operation from a power-saving state to a normal power consumption state when the interrupt signal is received.
