Abstract:
To deal with the image quality deterioration due to shrinkage of a sheet.SOLUTION: A signal processing device used in an image formation apparatus of scanning an optical beam emitting light with a light emission drive signal modulated according to image data for each pixel with a pixel clock as the reference in the first direction on a photoreceptor, forming a two-dimensional image in the first direction and second direction on the photoreceptor by relatively moving the photoreceptor and the sheet in the second direction orthogonal to the first direction, transferring the image formed on the photoreceptor to the sheet and fixing the image on the sheet by relatively moving a heat source heating the sheet transferred with the image in the first direction and the sheet in the second direction includes: a cycle adjustment unit which adjusts the cycle of each pulse of the pixel clock so as to change the scan length in the first direction at the position in the second direction on the sheet; and a phase adjustment unit which adjusts the phase of the pixel clock so as to change the scan start position in the first direction at the position in the second direction on the sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
