Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently search an optimum solution from among plural minimum solutions by periodically changing the non-linear resistance of an equation of motion.
CONSTITUTION: When the optimum solution in a neural network is searched, a term of non-linear resistance is provided for the equation of motion expressed by a formula 1, and the non-linear resistance is periodically changed. That is, when the equation of motion is expressed by the formular I, the term of the non-linear resistance is expressed by a formular II. In the formulas I and II, 'ε' is a positive constant, 'E(X)' is function of energy, 'm' is mass (m>0), 'f(X', wt)' is periodical non-linear function, 'ω' is a period, 'd0' and 'd1' are the coefficients of linear resistance, 'd2' is the coefficient of non-linear resistance, 'sgn(X)' is sign function. Thus, when the optimum solution is searched, solution space can be efficiently searched for while not being tied to the minimum values, and the range of search can be prevented from being resticted by the setting of an initial value.
