Abstract:

To realize a WTA competition process occurring between synapses in a living body electrochemically.

Plural signal processing units are installed for the same anion solution. Each signal processing unit is formed of a pair of electrodes formed of a first electrode 18a where a polypyrrole layer 16 is formed on a surface and a second electrode 18b where the polypirrole layer 16 is not formed on the surface, and a power source part applying voltage to a pair of electrodes. The power source part switches a first power source part applying voltage in sizes which are individually decided for the respective first electrodes 18a based on inputted data and a second power source part applying uniform inverse voltage to all the second electrodes 18b by a switch mechanism at a period which is previously decided.
