Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make the most of all the areas of a disk by providing and analog signal recording circuit and a digital signal recording circuit and controlling analog signals in the spiral direction of the disk. CONSTITUTION:The both recording circuits of the analog signal recording circuit and the digital signal recording circuit are provided and a tracking control circuit 18, laser driving circuit 8, modulation and demodulation circuits 7, 25, 20 and 27 are controlled so that the analog signals can be recorded in the spiral direction of a disk 1 and digital signals can recorded reversely in the spiral direction of the disk 1. By utilizing the fact of temporarily storing the digital signals in a memory means 23 and intermittently recording those signals, the digital signals are recorded while being divided into one track reversely in the spiral direction of the disk 1 and the analog signals are recorded in the spiral direction of the disk 1 so that the continuity of the signals can not be damaged. Thus, all the areas of the disk can be utilized at its maximum without fixing capacity respectively for the analog and digital signals.
