The silicone needle of the invention comprises a plurality of needles formed on a substrate. Each of the plurality of needles has a needle body whose outer diameter is tapered continuously toward its leading edge. The method for producing the silicone needle is as follows: anisotropic etching is conducted after a mask is applied on the substrate; deposited layers on the sides are removed; and isotropic etching is further conducted.
