Abstract:
To provide a silicone-treated powder which can be compounded into various cosmetics and is excellent in stability in products and to provide a production method of the same.
This silicone-treated powder is a powder of which the surface is coated with a silicone compound. The amount of hydrogen generated by Si-H groups remaining on the surface of the powder is 0.2 mL or lower based on 1 g of the treated powder, and the contact angle of the powder with water is 100° or higher. The treated powder is produced by coating the surface of a powder with a silicone compound and heating the resultant silicone-coated powder at 260-500°C for 0.1-24 h.
