Title:
SILK SCREEN PRINTING METHOD AND HEAT CUTTER FOR LAMINATE FILM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61154881
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable fine contour lines, hairs, characters or the like to be printed by cutting, by a method wherein a heat cutter is sweepingly moved on a silk screen printing laminate film in the same manner as in writing ordinary characters or drawing contour lines in painting.

CONSTITUTION: An intermediate film 7 having an adhesive surface 9 for a screen 11 on one side thereof and to be cut to form a pattern seal film 12 is laminated on a base sheet 8 consisting of a film material, a paper, a metallic foil or the like to obtain the laminate film 1 for silk screen printing. The laminate film 1 is cut into the shape of a picture or characters while leaving only the base sheet 8, by a cutting part 2 of the heat cutter maintained at a temperature not lower than the melting point of the intermediate film 7. After adhering the adhesive surface 9 to the silk screen 11, the base sheet 8 is stripped off to leave only the pattern seal film 12, and printing on an object to be printed thereon is performed by utilizing a cutting line of the heat cutter or by removing the pattern seal film 12 of the same color.
