Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a siloxane compd. with phenol group which can be easily synthesized, has a high reactivity, and is suitable as a material of a hydrolysis- resistant siloxane-modified org. resin.
CONSTITUTION: This compd. is represented by formula I (wherein R is methyl or phenyl; R2 is a group od formula II; R1 is R or R2; m is 1-500; n is 0 or 1 provided when n is 0, then R1 is R2 and when n is 1, then R1 is R; and a is 1 or 2) and has one R2.
