PURPOSE: To improve the rapidity of desilverization of the titled material, the recoloring property of a cyan image and the color balance of the titled material, by incorporating a compd. capable of releasing a bleaching accelerator and a specified cyan coupler in the titled material.

CONSTITUTION: The titled material contains one or more kinds of the compd. capable of releasing the bleaching accelerator by allowing to react with the oxidant of an aromatic primary amine color developing main agent, and one or more kinds of the cyan coupler shown by formula I wherein R1 is an aliphatic or an aromatic group, etc., X is hydrogen atom or a group capable of releasing by allowing to react with said oxidant, Ar is an aromatic group having a substituent group. The coupler shown by formula I is exemplified by a compd. shown by formula II. And, said compd. capable of releasing the bleaching accelerator is exemplified by the coupler shown by formula III, etc., A is a coupler residual group, L1 is a timing group, R31 and R32 are each a 1W6C aliphatic group, etc., X1 is -S- group, etc., Z is carboxyl group, etc., (a) is 0 or 1, (b) is 1W3.
