Title:
SILVER HALIDE PARTICLE AND SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL CONTAINING SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62229128
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled material having an excellent rapid developing property and an extremely less tendency for generating fog by incorporating the silver halide which has a crystal surface defined by a specific Miller index (nn1) and is composed of substantially silver chlorobromide to the titled material.

CONSTITUTION: The titled particle has the crystal surface defined by the Miller index (nn1) (n≥2), and is composed of substantially silver chlorobromide. As the crystal surface equivalent to the crystal surface (nn1) presents 24, the crystal constituting all outer surface thereof by the (nn1) crystal surface has 24 planes form, and each planes constituting the outer surface of the crystal are an obtuse triangle which has 2 kinds of apexes. The expression, the titled particle composed of substantially silver chlorobromide, means that the particle may be contained silver halide such as silver iodide except silver bromide and silver chloride at a range of not hindering the prescribed effects. In the case that silver iodide is used, the used amount of the silver iodide is preferably ≥2mol% per the silver halide.
