Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0289045
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the photographic sensitive material having high sensitivity and excellent image quality and particularly sharpness by forming the above- mentioned material in such a manner that the specific ratio of the total projection area of the silver halide emulsion particles in at least one of the layers is a planar silver halide emulsion having the average aspect ratio of a specific value or above.

CONSTITUTION: At least 50% of the total projection area of the silver halide emulsion particles in at least one layer of the layers of the silver halide photographic sensitive material having at least one layers in which the silver halide emulsion is incorporated on a polyester film base is the planar silver halide emulsion having ≥5:1 average aspect ratio and the moisture content of the polyester film is ≥0.5wt.%. Namely, the particle size is ≥5 times the particle thickness and is preferably 5 to 100 times, more preferably 5 to 30 times, more particularly preferably 8 to 20 times. The silver halide photographic sensitive material having the high sensitivity and excellent image quality is obtd. in this way.
