Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL HAVING HIGH SHARPNESS AND HIGH SENSITIVITY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06138566
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the silver halide photographic sensitive material having a high sensitivity and high sharpness.

CONSTITUTION: This silver halide photographic sensitive material has emulsion surfaces varying in the max. density on both surfaces of a transparent base. The max. density of the surface having the max. density (also referred to as a surface A) is ≥1.80 and the density of the surface of the low max. density (also referred to as a surface B) is ≤+0.20 fogging when the photosensitive material is exposed at the exposure at which the density of the surface A after development from the surface A attains +1.30. In addition, the value of SB'/SB which is the comparison between the sensitivity SB' of the surface B in the case of exposure from the surface A and the sensitivity SB of the surface B in the case of the exposure from the surface B is ≥0.12. The photosensitive material is so constituted that the sensitivity SA of the surface A in the case of the exposure from the surface A is higher than SB and that the relation between the average grain size rA of the total silver halide particles existing on the surface A and the average grain size rB of the total silver halide particles existing on the surface B satisfies the following equation: rB/rA≥1.1... equation.
