The silver halide emulsion layer is formed on the glass support and this layer or another hydrophilic colloidal layer contains the polymer latex having the active methylene groups and this polymer is represented by the formula in which C is one of repeating units derived form an ethylenically unsaturated monomer; A is one of repeating units derived from another ethylenically unsaturated monomer having a glass transition point of its homopolymer ≤35°C; and each of x, y, z is a weight percentage of each component; x is 0.5-40, y is 60-99.5, and z is 0-50, and x+y+z=100.
