Abstract:

To obtain the silver halide photographic sensitive material high in sensitivity and small in fog even in the case of rapid processing and improved in pressure resistance and small in deterioration of performance during storage by incorporating a selenium compound and/or tellurium compound and a phosphazene compound and a specified compound.

This silver halide photographic sensitive material contains the selenium compound and/or the tellurium compound, and phosphazene compound and the compound represented by the formula in which each of R11 and R15 is, independently, a 1-5C optionally substituted alkyl or such alkoxy or cyano group; each of R12-R14 is, independently, an H atom, corboxy, sulfonic, phosphoric group or an 1-4C alkyl or alkenyl group substituted by a carboxy, sulfonic acid, sulfuric or phosphoric acid, but each is not an H atom at the same time.
